Clark Wood is working with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Middlesbrough who are looking to recruit an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified audit professional to work with a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and corporate clients, delivering high-quality audit assignments while developing their career within a progressive practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing statutory audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Leading audit fieldwork and supervising junior team members
- Working with a diverse client portfolio across a range of sectors
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and resolving audit queries
- Reviewing junior team members’ work and providing coaching and support
- Ensuring audits are completed accurately, efficiently and within deadlines
- Travelling to client sites across the North East and Yorkshire when required
Skills & Experience
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Previous experience delivering statutory audits within a UK accountancy practice
- Experience working with OMB and SME clients
- Strong technical audit knowledge
- Ability to manage assignments independently and build strong client relationships
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
