Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? Whether you're an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or have transferable experience in care, support work, youth work or coaching, we'd love to hear from you.
New Formation Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-resourced SEN secondary school in Chessington, supporting students aged 11-19 with Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).

What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Helping pupils access learning tailored to their individual needs.
- Encouraging independence, confidence and social development.
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Working alongside teachers, therapists and the wider school team.
- Building positive relationships that help students thrive.
We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have Experience In:
✔ SEN or Teaching Assistant roles
✔ Autism (ASC)
✔ SEMH
✔ Learning Difficulties
Or transferable experience in:
- Support Work
- Residential Childcare
- Care or Healthcare
- Behaviour Mentoring
- Youth Work
- Sports Coaching
- Mental Health Support
- Youth Offending or Community Services

Requirements
- Previous experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
