Walkers Motor Group is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our Vauxhall dealership in Selby.
And unlike many motor trade sales roles, there’s no Sunday working – every Sunday is yours.
Previous motor trade experience isn’t essential. We’re happy to hear from experienced salespeople, but we also welcome applicants looking to start a new career in automotive sales.

What you’ll be doing
As a Sales Executive, you’ll help customers through the whole journey of choosing their next vehicle, from their first enquiry right through to handing over the keys.
Your role will include:
- Welcoming customers and finding out what they’re looking for
- Responding to telephone and online sales enquiries
- Presenting our new and used vehicles
- Arranging and conducting test drives
- Explaining vehicle and finance options clearly
- Following up enquiries and building relationships with customers
- Working towards individual and dealership sales targets
- Keeping your product knowledge up to date
- Making sure every customer receives a friendly and professional experience
What we’re looking for
Motor trade experience is not essential – we’ll provide training and support to help the right person succeed.
You’ll ideally be:
- Friendly, approachable and confident
- Comfortable talking to people from all walks of life
- Motivated and keen to achieve
- Positive and enthusiastic
- Well organised
- Willing to learn
- A good team player
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service
A full UK driving licence is required.
