CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
Build by Sets Ltd renovate characterful homes and Listed buildings within a 30-mile radius of Bruton in Somerset - private residential projects ranging upwards from £250k.
We strive to build high quality finishes and provide our clients with market-leading customer experience. Due to a rapidly increasing workload, we are looking to engage an experienced Project Manager to ensure we build to the highest standard of finish within programme and on budget.
The Role
Managing 2-3 projects concurrently, varying from Listed building renovations to contemporary extensions, and full refurbishments which will require:
- Daily site presence across multiple projects
- Single point of contact for clients, architects and specialist trades
- Maintaining high quality standards
- Managing Health & Safety on site
- Managing complex sites such as Listed buildings, access issues, bespoke finishes etc
- Following our processes and suggesting improvements
- Managing programme and progress on site
- Reporting on site progress internally and externally
- Controlling flow of information, document control, including drawing management
- Problem-solving in real-time
About You
We are looking for 3 to 5 years’ experience managing high-end residential property renovations, extensions, refurbishments - Pro Core experience valuable.
We would consider a Site Manager looking to progress into a Project Management role.
- Genuine understanding of traditional construction and contemporary work
- Ability to read and challenge architectural drawings
- Comfortable dealing with conservation officers and planning constraints
- SMSTS or willingness to obtain it
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
