Job Summary
We are a family-run fine-dining restaurant looking for a flexible person to offer exceptional customer service as part of our small team. You need to have confidence in a public environment, a friendly personality, definite ‘can do’ attitude, excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Experience is required as you will be working in a small team. A strong interest in food will also be beneficial. You will need to be friendly and well-presented with good customer skills and inter-team communication, a good memory and plenty of common sense.
Your shifts will be variable across lunch and dinner services from Thursday to Saturday as business demands, totalling around 70-85 hours per month. Additional shifts or cover for colleague holidays may be available from time to time.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and provide detailed information about dishes
- Serve food with knowledge of details on the menu (this changes bi-monthly)
- Check on guests to ensure satisfaction with each course
