Electronics Repair Technician Jobs in Telford
Bespoke Career Solutions is recruiting Laptop and Desktop Repair Technicians for a modern electronics company based in Telford.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with practical electronics repair experience who are looking for stable, ongoing work. You will join a busy technical team responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a variety of electronic devices.
Experience repairing laptops and desktop computers would be preferred. However, candidates with experience working on tablets, mobile phones or other electronic equipment will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting laptops, desktop computers and other electronic devices
- Diagnosing hardware and component faults
- Repairing and replacing damaged or faulty components
- Carrying out general maintenance and refurbishment work
- Disassembling and reassembling electronic devices safely
- Testing repaired equipment to ensure it is working correctly
- Recording faults, repairs and completed work accurately
- Using hand tools and specialist repair equipment
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workstation
- Following company quality and health and safety procedures
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience repairing laptops, desktops, tablets or mobile phones would be preferred
- A practical electronics background with hands-on repair experience
- Confidence using hand tools and electronic repair equipment
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow technical instructions and repair processes
- Good manual dexterity and a careful approach to handling components
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
