What you'll be doing
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a consistently high standard.
- Deliver friendly, professional, and engaging customer service to create memorable guest experiences.
- Recommend drinks and menu pairings, confidently explaining our cocktail and beverage offerings.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar throughout each shift.
- Follow all licensing laws, food safety, health and safety, and allergen procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately using the till system.
- Work closely with the Front of House and Kitchen teams to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Contribute to creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere that reflects authentic Sri Lankan hospitality.
- Support the wider restaurant team during busy service periods whenever required.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role.
- Knowledge about mixology.
- A passion for cocktails, beverages, and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A team player who enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods.
- The legal right to work in the UK.
