Duties:
- Assemble and fabricate steel-work according to blueprints and specifications
- Use various tools and equipment such as welders, grinders, plasma cutters.
- Read and interpret drawings, not essential.
- Perform welding tasks including MIG and stick welding
- Cut, shape, and bend metal using power tools and machinery
- Rig and move heavy materials using forklifts or other equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication techniques
- Proficient in reading and interpreting structural drawings, not essential.
- Skilled in operating various tools and equipment such as welders, grinders, plasma cutters.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
