No Split Shifts - No Late Night Shifts - £15-16 per hour.
Wicked Care are currently supporting a care home based in Frome, Somerset who are looking for an experience Cook/Chef and are looking to pay between £15.00 to £16.00 per hour.
As the home’s Cook/Chef, you will be responsible for the leadership of a busy kitchen with the support of Kitchen Assistants, preparing homely high-quality food in an efficient, hygienic, and creative manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and cook a variety of fresh nutritious meals and other refreshments, ensuring a nutritional and balanced diet
- Working alongside seasonal menus which has a choice of a vegetarian and/or meat dish
- Ensure the food is presented to a high creative standard
- Lead and inspire other kitchen team members
- Ensuring high levels of hygiene, health and safety and cleanliness throughout the kitchen
- To make sure that all food at point of serving is of the highest quality
- To be responsible for the cost control
- To oversee stock rotation to ensure the kitchen and food stores are always well stocked
EXPERIENCE:
- Food and Hygiene Level 2
- Preferred minimum 3 years’ experience working in a lead catering role
