Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Sales and Events Executive to join our team 3 days a week. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, organising and managing events, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet organisational targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, outreach, and market research
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee a variety of events, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and reports to support sales initiatives and event planning
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote upcoming events and sales campaigns
- Monitor industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth
- Manage budgets for events, ensuring cost-effective utilisation of resources
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, event management, or a related role is preferred
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with CRM systems is advantageous
- Creative problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding results
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required for events or client meetings
- A recognised qualification in marketing, business administration or related fields is desirable
