About the role
Phoenix Brickwork are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Office Administrator to join our team at our Pinxton Head Office. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career to gain hands-on experience in a fast paced construction environment, whilst also developing creative skills in social media and content creation.
You will support the day to day running of the office while assisting with media and marketing tasks to help promote the business.
Key Responsibilities
Office Administration
- · Provide general administrative support
- · Answer phone calls and respond to emails professionally
- · Maintain and update company records and databases
- · Assist with filing, scanning and document control
- · Support with booking meetings, training and travel arrangements
- · Help with onboarding and general admin for new starters
- Social Media and Media Support
- · Assist in managing company social media platforms (Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram)
- · Create and schedule posts showcasing projects, achievements and events
- · Support with capturing site content
- · Designing basic marketing materials
What we are looking for
- · Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills
- · Good communication and organisational skills
- · Basic IT knowledge (Microsoft Office, email)
- · Interest in social media and content creation
- · A proactive and positive attitude
- · Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will work towards a recognized Business Administration qualification alongside their role, gaining practical experience to support their learning.
