Overview
We are seeking a motivated Part-time Gardener to join our team. This role involves working outdoors to maintain and enhance a variety of garden and landscape environments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and outdoor work, with a willingness to learn and develop their skills in landscape maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Use hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment to maintain gardens and landscapes effectively
- Pruning, weeding, mowing, and general garden upkeep
- Operate gardening machinery safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure safety standards are adhered to at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance is advantageous
- A genuine interest in gardening, horticulture or outdoor environment management
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks such as digging, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
