Do you enjoy making things clean and tidy with a good attention to detail? We have a permanent position opened up in our Housekeeping Department.
Join our small friendly team of housekeepers who work mostly independently or sometimes in a team to clean our lodges ready for incoming guests. Answerable to our Housekeeping Manager. We are a family owned business who promote safe working and have a great teamwork approach.
Spending the holiday season getting lodges ready for guests, to maintain our lodges in their best condition,. With a more relaxed winter deep cleaning the lodges ready for the next season.
Days of work are Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. These days are set and are necessary due to changeovers. Hours of work are 9am to 4pm with a half hour unpaid lunch break (26 hrs a week). Tea making facilities on site (including a microwave).
Experience is preferred/appreciated but able to train on the job. Must be physically fit and able to work to a deadline. Cleaning materials, Uniform and equipment provided to staff. General training in Manual Handling, Health and Safety at work and First Aid.
Please note our remote location (Portscatho - The Roseland TR2 5ET) with limited bus service from Truro. We are 1 mile from the nearest bus stop. Own transport needed with Free staff parking on site. We can also provide salary sacrifice scheme on the King Harry Ferry.
