Andrew Symons Ltd is a well-established, family-run agricultural machinery dealership serving customers across the South West. We are looking for an experienced Agricultural Parts Manager to lead our busy parts department at our Crediton Depot.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in agricultural parts who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service, managing stock efficiently, and leading the day-to-day operation of a successful parts department.
The Role
As Agricultural Parts Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day running of the parts department.
- Providing excellent customer service to both trade and retail customers.
- Ordering, receiving and controlling stock to maintain optimum availability.
- Managing inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock records.
- Organising and maintaining a safe, efficient warehouse.
- Processing orders and using computerised parts and stock management systems.
- Working closely with the service and sales departments to support customer requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to grow parts sales and improve departmental performance.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in an agricultural parts role (essential).
- Good knowledge of agricultural machinery and parts.
- Strong organisational and stock management skills.
- Confidence using IT systems and parts management software.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive, reliable and positive approach to work.
