As one of the first points of contact for pupils, parents and staff, you’ll play a key role in the smooth running of the office. If you love being organised, enjoy working with people and can stay calm when ten things happen at once, this may be the role for you!
The successful candidate will:
- provide secretarial and administrative support to the Deputy Head
- possess excellent interpersonal and team-working skills
- be IT confident, proficient in Word and Excel and happy to learn new systems
- be an excellent communicator with a very keen eye for detail
- be warm, friendly and confident when dealing with children, parents and colleagues
- be discreet and professional, with an understanding of confidentiality
- be calm under pressure, with a good sense of humour and a positive, can-do attitude
Previous experience in a school or similar busy environment would be advantageous, but personality, organisation and attention to detail are just as important. In return we offer the opportunity to become part of a supportive and vibrant school community, where every day brings something different.
