SafeHands Nursing Care (SHNC) is a CQC‑registered, nurse‑led complex care provider supporting adults in their own homes across London and surrounding areas.
We are recruiting Registered Nurses with experience in, or a genuine interest in, complex care to join our clinical team.
Most of our care is provided one‑to‑one or two‑to‑one. This gives you time to get to know the person you're supporting, understand how they usually present and recognise when something has changed.
We are looking for nurses we can trust with our clients. You should be clinically confident, know the limits of your own competence and be willing to pick up the phone when you're concerned.
You won't be expected to know everything.
Clinical areas you may support
- Tracheostomy care
- Invasive and non‑invasive ventilation
- Complex respiratory care
- Spinal cord injury
- Acquired brain injury
- Neurological conditions
- Epilepsy and seizure management
- Enteral feeding
- Bowel management
- Catheter care
- Pressure and skin care
- Medication administration
- Moving and handling
We will look at your experience and current competencies and consider you for care packages that are appropriate for your skill set. Where additional package‑specific training is required, this will be arranged before you are expected to carry out that aspect of care independently.
What you can expect from SHNC
SHNC is nurse‑led. If you call because you are worried about a client's condition, we understand the clinical concern you are trying to explain.
We want you to ask questions and escalate concerns. We would much rather you make the call than sit on something because you're unsure.

Who we are looking for
You must:
- Hold current UK NMC registration
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Work within your scope of practice
- Recognise and escalate changes in a client’s condition
- Keep clear and accurate clinical records
- Communicate well with clients, families and the wider care team
- Be comfortable providing care within someone’s home
Previous complex‑care experience is preferred, particularly in community complex care, respiratory care, spinal injury, neurological care or one‑to‑one nursing.
You will be working in someone’s home, and we expect the same clinical standards you would bring to any nursing role while respecting the person’s routines, choices, privacy and independence.

Pay: £30.00-£40.00 per hour
