Whirlybird is growing.
Following an incredibly successful opening on Victoria Street, we’re looking for two brilliant Front of House people to join our team.
We’re a modern tavern in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town — relaxed, busy and ambitious, with great food, interesting wine and cocktails, and hospitality that feels warm and natural rather than formal.
The response since opening has genuinely exceeded our expectations, and we’re now looking to strengthen the team as we move into the next stage of Whirlybird.
Who we’re looking for
You don’t need to know everything about wine or be able to recite every ingredient on the menu from day one.
You do need to really like hospitality and looking after people.
We’re looking for people who are:
- Warm, confident and genuinely friendly
- Comfortable working in a busy restaurant
- Interested in food, wine and drinks
- Reliable and good teammates
- Keen to learn and get better
- Able to have fun while still taking the job seriously
Experience is useful, but attitude, personality and work ethic matter more to us!
