Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Driver operating from our either our Toome or Enniskillen Depot. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery whilst adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to manage time effectively.
* Monday - Friday, 4 nights out
* Night out allowance
* Daily meal allowance
* North and South Ireland work
* 1 Year Driving Experience
Responsibilities
- Hold a valid Driving Licence and Driver CPC
- Operate a lorry in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
- Execute deliveries efficiently, including loading and unloading goods as necessary.
- Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Communicate effectively with planners and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times
Skills
- Proven driving experience
- Strong knowledge of flatbed operations is preferable
- Excellent driving skills with a valid commercial driving licence
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 50 – 75 per week
