Current Opportunity: MEP Agent
Location: Birmingham
As an MEP Agent, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of MEP construction activities, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule and in accordance with project specifications and quality requirements. Working closely with Design, Engineering, Construction and Commercial teams, you will coordinate MEP packages from planning through to installation, testing and commissioning, ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the safe delivery of MEP works across assigned sections of the project. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to achieve programme milestones.
- Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- Review and implement construction methodologies, work package plans and risk assessments.
- Monitor construction progress and identify mitigation measures to minimise delays.
- Coordinate interfaces between MEP systems and civil, structural and architectural works.
- Manage site resources, materials, plant and labour requirements.
- Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications and project standards.
- Assist with cost reporting, forecasting and change management activities.
- Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and project documentation.
Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors and project teams.

Essential Experience:
- Experience delivering MEP works within major construction, infrastructure, rail, utilities or transportation projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and public health systems. Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary site activities.
- A good understanding of construction planning, sequencing and delivery processes.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and complex project environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
