Job Overview

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialised coffee drinks, teas, and smoothies
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and seating areas
- Take customer orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and handle cash or card transactions
- Provide friendly assistance to customers, answering queries about menu items and recommending products when appropriate
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe environment for staff and customers
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required
Experience
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is essential
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy is desirable
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
