About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator to join our team at Ateres.
Your Responsibilities:
- Operating embroidery machines
- Creating and preparing embroidery designs
- Managing digital files and production workflow
- Quality control and finishing
Essential Skills:
- Experience with Wilcom Studio (essential)
- Basic Adobe Illustrator knowledge
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of embroidery systems and processes
- Ability to work independently
Duties
- Set up and operate embroidery machines according to design specifications and production schedules
- Prepare textiles and materials for embroidery, ensuring correct placement and tension
- Monitor machine operation throughout the production process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of embroidery equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and consistency before packaging
- Maintain organised workstations and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and achieve quality targets
Requirements
- Previous experience in sewing or warehouse environments is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of embroidery machinery operation or willingness to learn technical skills
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for colour accuracy and precision in work
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Prior experience with sewing or textile handling is considered an advantage
