We are seeking an organised and proactive HSEQ Coordinator to support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) systems.
Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you will work closely with operational teams and stakeholders to promote a positive safety culture, ensure compliance with legal and company requirements, and support continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update HSEQ policies, procedures and documentation within the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Support risk assessments, RAMS, SSOW, workplace inspections, audits and corrective action plans.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, training, toolbox talks, safety forums and other HSEQ initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records relating to incidents, training, COSHH, subcontractors, compliance and inspections.
- Support internal and external audits and help ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Manage HSEQ systems, including Control Ops, SharePoint, Barbour Registers and relevant compliance platforms.
- Coordinate employee feedback, incident records, KPIs, lessons learned and HSEQ reporting.
- Liaise with operational teams, Safety Officers, training providers, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Support environmental compliance and waste management processes, including relevant documentation and records.
- Prepare reports, presentations, meeting minutes and follow up on actions.
- Assist with purchasing, invoice processing and general HSEQ administration.
- Support the creation and maintenance of site folders, signage and other HSEQ requirements.
- Promote a strong culture of health, safety, environmental responsibility, quality and continuous improvement.

You will be highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work confidently with people at all levels of the organisation.
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience supporting HSEQ or Health & Safety Management Systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Experience with risk assessments, audits, inspections, incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Experience coordinating training, inductions and toolbox talks.
- Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills.
- National 5/GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
- NEBOSH or IOSH qualification is desirable.
