At Cobalt Housing, we are more than just a housing provider. We are committed to creating vibrant, sustainable communities where our customers can thrive. We believe in continuous improvement, collaboration and delivering excellent services that make a real difference to people's homes and communities.
As an Asset Surveyor, you will play a key role in helping us understand, maintain and improve our housing stock. Through the collection and analysis of stock condition, compliance and energy performance data, you will provide the insight that supports long-term investment planning and ensures our homes remain safe, well-maintained and fit for the future.
Working across approximately 6,000 homes, you will use your technical expertise to identify investment priorities, inform strategic decision-making and contribute to the successful delivery of our asset management programmes. If you are passionate about property, data-driven decision making and improving homes for residents, we'd love to hear from you.
About the role
As an Asset Surveyor, you will undertake a wide range of surveys, inspections and assessments across Cobalt's housing stock, helping to ensure our homes remain safe, compliant and well maintained. Using your technical knowledge of construction, building defects and property maintenance, you will identify repair and investment needs, undertake condition and compliance assessments, and develop recommendations that help maximise the performance and lifespan of our homes. You will work closely with colleagues across Asset Management, Customers and Communities, and Property Services, providing professional advice and contributing to the successful delivery of investment and improvement programmes.
