Haar is an award-winning restaurant in St Andrews, known for its commitment to seasonal Scottish produce, exceptional hospitality, and memorable guest experiences. We are looking for a passionate and personable Front of House Server to join our team.
About the Role
As a Front of House Server, you will be the face of Haar, delivering warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service to every guest. You will play a key role in creating an outstanding dining experience while working closely with the kitchen and management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service throughout the guest journey.
- Demonstrate detailed knowledge of menus, daily specials, and drinks offerings.
- Take accurate orders and communicate effectively with the kitchen team.
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the restaurant.
- Support colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but full training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and strong team ethic.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy service environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
