Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Follow established recipes and food safety guidelines to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Complete meal preparation, including chopping, cooking, plating, and garnishing dishes efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly
- Ensure during busy service times that food is served promptly and accurately
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to prevent contamination
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes
- Familiarity with kitchen safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently independently
- Excellent attention to detail when preparing ingredients and plating dishes
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members during service
- Prior restaurant or food service experience is essential
