Overview
We are looking for an experienced sheet metal worker to join our sheet metal fabrication department. The successful candidate must have previous experience working within the sheet metal industry and have a driven mentality with a eye for detail.
This is a exciting position with opportunities to process within the company.
Duties
- Pem-serting, riv-nuting, drilling operations, cutting and general assembly works all to technical drawings.
- Operation of CNC machinery such as punch, lathe, notching machine and laser cutter.
- Packaging goods ready for dispatch
- Loading and unloading of goods
- Inspection of works
Experience
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Knowledge of materials such as mild steel, stainless steel and alumiumium
- Forklift license would be good to have
Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
