Due to expansion, Mullen Property Services ltd are seeking a dedicated and experienced Trade Supervisor to oversee assigned jobs in the Cambridge and Peterborough area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing resources, ensuring quality work, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards. As a Trade Supervisor, you will work closely with the scheduler to prioritize and allocate work to contractors, monitor job progress, and resolve any issues that arise during the course of a project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the weekly Work In Progress (WIP) for Voids, including tasks , pre-work surveys, and works appointments.
- Use WIP data to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively to address areas of high demand.
- Conduct WIP inspections for ongoing works valued
- Perform sign-off inspections for works
- Collaborate with the scheduling department to assign the most suitable contractor for each job.
- Disrepair, Recalls, and Complaints Management:
- Monitor recalls and complaints, ensuring all works are managed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Undertake minor works to facilitate project completion when necessary.
- Oversee disrepair projects from pre-inspection through to final sign-off.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Conduct regular health and safety site visits, including site inductions and safety checks.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols on-site.
- Assist in maintaining the contractor workforce by ensuring numbers align with the onboarding rate of new contractors.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in multiple trades.
- Experience working in the Social Housing sector.
- Strong organizational and resource management skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction/trades industry.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
- Full driving license.
