Basic Salary: £62,241 per annum plus additional benefits

We're looking for experienced maritime professionals who are qualified as Skippers and have their Boatmaster Licence (BML) or higher to join us on our Small Ferries fleet and take command of vessels that play a vital role in keeping people, businesses and communities connected.

What you'll do
As Skipper on our small ferries fleet, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel, ensuring the highest standards of navigation, safety, customer service and crew leadership. You'll work closely with onboard teams and shore-based colleagues to deliver a reliable and professional service to our customers.
What we're looking for
To be considered for this role, you must hold as a minimum:
Boatmaster Licence (BML);
In addition, it would be an advantage if you also had the following

Tier 1 Level 2 Boatmaster Licence with Passenger Vessel Endorsement; or
- Officer of the Watch (Unlimited) STCW II/1
- Tier 2 Level 2 endorsement for service vessels and operating area
- Pilot Exemption Certificate for relevant Clyde routes
What we offer
As part of our small ferries pool team, you will be allocated a designated home port, normally the port nearest to your home address. When working from your home port, travel expenses and overnight allowances will not apply. However, these benefits will be provided when you are assigned to operate on other routes across the network.
