An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established team of Physiotherapists working within the locality Hubs in Edinburgh. The multidisciplinary teams within the Hubs support several key functions within the community. They provide short term interventions to support people at home who are experiencing a recent change in their circumstances that may result in a hospital admission; work with secondary care to facilitate earlier hospital discharges for people who require increased support and rehabilitation on their initial discharge from hospital; and support people in the community to identify and address their falls risk factors. The Hub Physiotherapy teams are part of the wider Community Physiotherapy Services and have access to regular supervision and opportunities to enable them to meet all four AHP pillars of practice.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
Please note: As this post is part-time, the salary will be pro-rata.
