The Café Theatre at Redfields Garden Centre is more than just a café—it's a destination. Renowned for freshly prepared food, warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere, we're looking for a talented Chef de Partie / Café Chef to join our passionate kitchen team.

What You'll Be Doing
As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll play an integral role in delivering consistently outstanding food and maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking high-quality breakfast, brunch, lunch and daily specials
- Producing fresh, seasonal dishes to specification with consistency and attention to detail
- Supporting menu development with creativity and new ideas
- Maintaining exceptional food presentation and portion control
- Managing your section efficiently during busy service periods
- Assisting with stock rotation, ordering and inventory control
- Minimising waste and contributing to effective cost management
- Ensuring full compliance with food safety, HACCP and health & safety procedures
- Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and kitchen organisation
- Working collaboratively with the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding customer experiences
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required
- Helping maintain a positive, professional and motivated kitchen culture
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Café Chef or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
- Passion for producing fresh, high-quality food
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy service
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards
- A positive attitude and genuine team spirit
- Reliability, flexibility and a strong work ethic
- Food Safety Level 2 (preferred, although training can be provided)
