We're looking for an experienced Deputy Home Manager to take a senior clinical role at Bridgeside Lodge Care Centre, our care home in Islington, working closely with the Home Manager to maintain high standards of clinical care, team performance and occupancy.
This is a broad and demanding role with a strong clinical focus. You'll lead on care quality across the home, ensuring that residents' needs are thoroughly assessed, planned for and met to the highest standard. You'll oversee rota planning, recruitment, induction and mandatory training, and you'll monitor and manage team member performance, addressing issues promptly and through the right channels. You'll also support the commercial running of the home, contributing to occupancy growth and cost management alongside your clinical leadership responsibilities.
What we're looking for
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a current NMC pin
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), with willingness to work towards Level 4 or 5
- Solid management experience in an elderly care setting
- A strong background in clinical care planning and governance
- Familiarity with the marketing and financial aspects of care home management
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership and a genuine commitment to high standards of care
