Job Title: Registered Manager – Children’s Residential
Location: Rothbury, Northumberland (NE65)
Salary: £48,600 - £60,000 per annum
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm. Flexibility required to work weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins when needed.
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time
Sleep-ins: As required, paid at £75 per sleep-in
Service: Children's Residential Home
Service Users: Children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and complex health needs
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Residential Childcare (essential), Level 5 Leadership and Management for Children and Young People's Workforce (or willingness to work towards)
Experience Required: Previous experience working with children and young people within a residential setting

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a dedicated leader who can inspire a team and provide outstanding care and support for children and young people.
The successful candidate will have:
- Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification
- Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or willingness to work towards it
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance
- Experience working with children and young people in residential care settings
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- The ability to manage challenging situations with empathy, emotional intelligence and professionalism
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
