Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Labourer to join our team.
The Role
As a Labourer, you will play an important role in both our manufacturing facility and on-site installation projects. This is a varied position, with your time split between our Ormskirk factory and customer sites across the UK.
Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will assist with the manufacture and installation of bespoke timber doorsets, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills within a specialist joinery environment.
Additional site-work bonus payments are available when working away from the factory.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of doorsets on construction sites.
- Assemble timber door frames and associated products in the factory.
- Follow and interpret detailed work instructions and technical specifications.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and to the required quality standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production and project deadlines.
- Comply with all company health and safety procedures.
Skills & ExperienceEssential
- Willingness to work both in the factory and on construction/live sites.
- Previous experience as a labourer or factory operative.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively across multiple projects.
- Ability to pass a DBS check.
Desirable
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience operating woodworking machinery.
- Previous experience within a joinery, woodworking, or door manufacturing environment.
- Basic joinery experience.
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
