We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Oversee food safety procedures, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Train and mentor junior staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure all food served meets quality standards and customer expectations.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Maintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen setting, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Supervising experience with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Leadership qualities with a focus on team management and development.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and management.
- A passion for culinary arts and continuous learning within the hospitality industry. Pay: £12.71-£14.75 per hour
