About you

ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified with relevant higher education or equivalent experience

Significant experience in a senior finance role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or similar sectors

Proven experience managing finance teams and leading statutory and management reporting

Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory management, and financial controls
-
Experience handling external audits and working with ERP systems
-
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
-
Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical abilities

Resilient, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
What you'll do

Oversee monthly financial closes, produce management accounts, and deliver KPI reports punctually and accurately

Maintain robust internal controls, manage balance sheet reconciliations, and oversee cash flow reporting

Manage statutory compliance including VAT, corporation tax, and external audits

Lead manufacturing finance activities such as standard costing, inventory control, and margin analysis

Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support strategic decision-making

Develop and mentor the finance team, encouraging continuous improvement

Implement system enhancements and support automation initiatives to optimise processes
