The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Vehicle Coordinator to join our Bodyshop department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, has a keen eye for detail, and has a genuine interest in motor vehicles.
As a Vehicle Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing the custody inspection process for customer vehicles, ensuring an exceptional customer experience from arrival through to collection. You'll be responsible for accurately assessing vehicle condition, completing documentation, handling customer interactions professionally, and supporting the smooth operation of the Bodyshop.
Hours of work are Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm and the salary is £13.45 per hour.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Complete vehicle condition reports accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct custody inspections on customer and courtesy vehicles.
- Report vehicle faults, accidents, incidents, or damage promptly.
- To be responsible for the collection of payment and receipts, and to ensure that the correct banking procedures are followed on the return to the office.
- Safely and legally drive customer and company vehicles when required.
- Complete all relevant paperwork with the customer, ensuring that the customer is treated in a professional and effective manner.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:
- A full UK Driving License.
- Good understanding of modern vehicles.
- Previous experience of face-to-face customer service.
- Strong communication skills.
