The Sunbed Studio has turned one and is already the hottest sunbed destination in Lichfield, proudly the first of its kind in the Fradley area and what’s best is we have just become a finalist for the Best New Salon 2026 representing Staffordshire!
Interviews will be commencing early August with training and official rota to start in September.
As our customer base grows, we’re looking for a friendly, confident and passionate Studio Host / Tanning Consultant to join our luxury tanning studio on a flexible, part-time basis.
With 4 sunbed rooms and 1 beauty room, our mission is to bring a high-end, blissful tanning experience to our community. We pride ourselves not only on our studio’s luxurious aesthetic, but also on offering exceptional service, education and results. If you’re confident in solo working, enthusiastic about wellbeing, beauty and premium tanning experiences and are able to both manage yourself and customers, you may be the perfect fit for our team.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome every member with a warm, positive and professional attitude
- Deliver a 5-star customer focused experience
- Understand each client’s skin type, tanning goals and provide tailored advice
- Confidently upsell sunbed minutes, courses, creams and pre/post-tan products
- Ensure constant high standards of cleanliness in all rooms and reception areas throughout the day
- Manage walk-in bookings through our in-house system
- Ensure all clients complete consultation forms and ID checks
- Work independently and as part of a team in a sometimes busy environment
- Participate in social media content such as uplifting and educational videos or photos
- Maintain a professional, positive and reliable approach at all times
- Be flexible to support business needs
What We’re Looking For
- Must be 25+
- A genuine passion for tanning, beauty and wellbeing
- Experience in sales, customer service or business development
- Tanning experience is a bonus but not essential – full training provided
- Must be confident using computers and booking systems
- Strong reliability, timekeeping and attention to personal presentation
- Able to work a full day shift (10am–7:30pm) plus a shorter shift weekly
- MUST be available for one Saturday & one Sunday per month (this is rotated fairly across the team)
Additional Details
- Opening hours:
- Mon–Fri: 10:00am – 7:30pm
- Saturday: 10:00am – 5:30pm
- Sunday: 10:00am – 2:00pm
- Position is contracted
- Part-time: 9.5 hours + overtime up to 20 hours per week to assist with teams annual leave / cover – flexible hours monthly
- Monthly incentives & occasional team events
- 1 year contact inclusive of 3 month probationary period
