Restaurant Manager
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated person to join our small and friendly team.
A little bit about us……..The Longs Arms is a beautiful country pub in the village of South Wraxall near Bath and Bradford on Avon. We are passionate about serving seasonal British food and have received much national recognition. We are listed in the prestigious Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs, feature in The Good Food Guide as one of their 100 best pubs, are listed in the Michelin guide and have two AA Rosettes.

Candidates must be passionate about providing excellent service, professional, organised, motivated and be an enthusiastic team member.
The ideal candidate will:
- provide direct support to the owners
- work closely with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the day to day running of front of house operations
- assist in the management of the team and act as mentor to new staff
- manage incoming enquiries and take customer bookings
- assist with the ordering of stock
- work to a consistently high standard and provide outstanding customer service
- have excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- be personable and engaging to ensure every interaction exceeds customers’ expectations
- have the ability to develop key relationships with all our customers to provide an expectation dining experience
- have the ability to remain calm under pressure
We’re offering a cracking package:
- 4 day working week of Thursday to Sunday
- 3 days off every week
- Excellent and competitive salary plus tips
- 8 weeks paid annual leave per year (2 weeks in January, 3 weeks in May, 3 weeks in September)
Important things to note:
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with strong team management skills is essential.
- You must have recent experience
- Your own transport is essential as we do not have public transport in the village
