Job Description: Full Time Project Manager
Lopen Joinery is a small team of highly skilled designers and cabinet makers based in rural Somerset. We are leading specialists in bespoke fitted and free-standing joinery for the super prime residential industry. With precision, and excellence, we work with high-net-worth clients, architects, and designers to deliver exceptional joinery solutions that enhance luxury homes.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee and coordinate joinery projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep understanding of high-end joinery and the luxury residential sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple high-end residential joinery projects, ensuring seamless execution from design to installation.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors to define project scope and expectations.
- Communicate and build relationships with our dedicated and highly skilled fitting team.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and resource plans.
- Coordinate with in-house designers and workshop teams to ensure production aligns with project requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee installation, resolve issues, and ensure quality control.
- Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a high-end joinery, furniture, or luxury interiors environment.
- Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes, materials, and installation methods.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Full UK driving licence.
