Montis Care is seeking an exceptional Registered Manager to lead our established 8-bed residential care home in Waterlooville, Hampshire, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

Unlike many management vacancies within the sector, this role is not being recruited to address service difficulties. We are looking for a motivated leader who can build on these strong foundations and continue driving excellent outcomes for residents.
About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of the home, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led services.
You will lead and inspire a committed staff team while maintaining excellent standards of care, compliance, safeguarding, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to the staff team.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with CQC regulations and best practice.
- Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, and risk management.
- Lead audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activities.
- Manage staffing, recruitment, supervision, and workforce development.
- Oversee care planning, assessments, and resident outcomes.
- Build positive relationships with families, professionals, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, independence, and person-centred support.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Service Manager within Health and Social Care.
- Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and/or Mental Health needs.
- Good knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of the people we support.
