The main role consists of providing a retrieval, stripping and preparing
notes for scanning into the Trust electronic document storage system.
We are aided by an external scanning contractor (as and when required
due to high volume of patient activity though primarily we scan in house
within both Bureau’s.
Working towards and maintaining the scanning turn around times to meet
the Service Level Agreement in order to aid timely patient care.

Collecting/delivery notes around the Trust to wards and departments.
Preparing the clinical record to a standard enabling efficient and accurate scanning of the record into the Trust electronic record system EVOLVE.
Liaising with the Poole scanning bureau; assisting wards and outpatients with queries; provide information and advice regarding record keeping practices to all areas of the Trust.
UHD are investing, developing and transforming Trust services in line with the New Hospital Programme. As part of this, some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or permanently. Recruiting Managers will be happy to answer any service-specific questions at interview.
If a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not be reimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.
