About the Role:
As a Cleaning team leader , you will play a key role in representing Azurablu Ltd on site, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service delivery are consistently achieved across our client environments. This position will involve working within both office and customer-facing areas, requiring a professional approach and strong attention to detail at all times.
You will support the day-to-day management of the evening cleaning operation by coordinating staff, monitoring standards, and ensuring all scheduled cleaning duties are completed efficiently and safely.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 17:00- 20.30
- Contract: Permanent contract of employment, Min 20 hours per week
- Pay: £13.50 per hour, paid monthly
- Overtime: Available throughout the site, and within other areas of the Company
- Location: Braehead/Hillington Glasgow
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support cleaning operatives during the evening shift to ensure all scheduled tasks are completed to a high standard
- Carry out regular quality inspections across client areas to maintain presentation and cleanliness standards
- Allocate duties effectively across the team and provide guidance where required
- Ensure all cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals are used safely and stored correctly
- Promote and maintain compliance with Health & Safety procedures and company policies
- Report any maintenance concerns, damages, or health & safety hazards promptly to management
- Maintain accurate records relating to attendance, cleaning schedules, and operational requirements
- Assist with the training and onboarding of new employees, supporting ongoing development within the team
- Maintain a professional and positive working relationship with both colleagues and client representatives
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is essential
- Previous supervisory experience is desirable
- Ability to work independently whilst supporting a wider team environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- High standards of professionalism and attention to detail
- Ability to pass a Basic Disclosure Scotland check (paid for by the Company)
