Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) Advisor to join our Client's organisation. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on safety performance, audit findings, and incident analyses.
- Facilitate training sessions on health, safety, and environmental topics to promote awareness among staff.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and ensure all personnel are familiar with procedures such as first aid protocols.
- Monitor environmental impact measures and ensure adherence to sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate with management to integrate QHSE considerations into operational planning and decision-making processes.
Experience
- Proven experience as a QHSE Advisor or in a similar health and safety role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrable knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and best practices in health, safety, quality, and environmental management.
- Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to produce clear, detailed documentation for audits and investigations.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis to identify underlying issues behind incidents or non-conformities.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
