We are looking for someone who:
-Holds a level 3 Dog grooming qualification
-Has a genuine, deep love for all animals- every pup gets your best care!

Responsibilities:
-Bathing, prepping and grooming dogs from start to finish
-Customer service, seeing pets in and out, taking payments, answering phones and booking appointments
-General cleaning and tiding of the salon
At A-Z Animal care we also groom, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs as well as cleaning teeth for dogs. These are all skills that we will be happy to teach on site as you gain experience in our salon.
We want someone who values their work, is happy to ask questions and ask for help if it’s needed, someone who can take initiative and crack on with any task given to them.
Hours:
Ideally we are looking for someone full time but we can be flexible. Our Salon ours our 9am-5:30pm Tuesday - Friday and alternate Saturdays.
We generally work 8 hour days with 30 minute lunch break.
We will be looking at an hourly rate of minimum wage to begin with- this can be discussed as you progress in the salon.
Other Information:
If you have your own grooming equipment like scissors and clippers that you ish to use that is absolutely fine but equipment can be provided when you start.
There is onsite parking, our salon is located at the Ripley’s Garden centre site in which we have access to their car park. There is a lovely restaurant which you can order food to take away for lunch, local shops near by and we have a fridge/ kitchen where you can store/ make packed lunches if you wish.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
