Role: Production Operative
Location: Henfield
Hours: Monday – Friday
Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Late Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Pay: £13.50 per hour (Day Shift) or £18.60 per hour (Late Shift)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join one of our longstanding clients, a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke timber doors and timber products.
This is a hands-on manufacturing role working within a fast-paced production environment, helping to produce high-quality timber doors, frames and components while maintaining exceptional quality, productivity and health & safety standards.

- The Requirements
- Previous experience using hand tools within a manufacturing environment
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties
- Experience working to quality standards and production targets
- Good written and spoken English
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Numerate with the ability to interpret measurements and diagrams
- Reliable, organised and proactive approach

Desirable:
- Experience in woodworking, carpentry or timber manufacturing
- Experience operating CNC machinery or production equipment
- Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

The Role
- Operate production machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assemble and finish high-quality timber doors and related products
- Follow work instructions, production schedules and operating procedures
- Maintain high quality standards throughout the manufacturing process
- Support the team in achieving daily production targets
- Keep work areas clean, safe and organised
- Take ownership of your work area, ensuring productivity and accuracy
- Report quality concerns, maintenance issues and improvement opportunities
- Support other departments when required
- Work safely at all times, following company health and safety procedures
- Assist with additional production projects as required
