Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Breakfast Chef or Commis Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a range of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, pastries, and other morning specialties
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards throughout all stages of meal preparation
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods, ensuring timely service without compromising quality
- Assist in plating and presenting dishes attractively to enhance guest satisfaction
- Follow recipes and kitchen procedures accurately to ensure consistency in every dish served
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary ingredients and supplies
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Demonstrated skills in food preparation and cooking techniques suitable for breakfast cuisine
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
- Experience with meal preparation from scratch, including basic baking and cooking methods
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Serving experience is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude toward guest service is key

Pay: £16.50-£22.00 per hour
