West Midlands Safari Park is currently recruiting for an Animal Keeper on our Ungulates section.
This is an exciting opportunity, where we are looking for applicants who can demonstrate the ability and knowledge to work with the extensive range of ungulate species, managed in a drive-through safari system. The position involves husbandry tasks, such as feeding, cleaning, health monitoring and environment maintenance, delivered to a high standard. The position involves work in the Asian and African sections and all the species within. It includes monitoring of guests in our Safari Drive and delivering keeper talks.
About you
The role requires someone who is confident, motivated and enthusiastic about wildlife conservation and has excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will require good wildlife knowledge and have an animal related qualification to HND level or above. Ideally, we are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role. It is a physically demanding but very rewarding role.
You will need to be flexible in your approach to work outside of standard business hours, including weekends, bank holidays and evenings. Due to driving in animal restricted areas, we are looking for someone who has a full, valid driving licence.

What we are
West Midlands Safari Park is an award-winning visitor attraction, located in Worcestershire in the heart of England.
