We are now expanding our business capabilities and we are looking to provide a unique opportunity for a Workshop Assistant to join our team.
This is a fixed term contract initially for 4 months. There is potential for extension of the contract.
Well suited to someone starting out their career in furniture making. The role will largely be within a team making table tops for a large restaurant chain. The role will includes large amounts of sanding, and also assisting senior team members with various tasks in the workshop.
The Person we are seeking will have: -
- Previous furniture workshop experience preferred but not vital.
- A keen eye for detail.
- An ability to undertake projects on your own or as part of a team.
- A passion for craftmanship, the environment and sustainability.
They will be: -
- Trustworthy, punctual and hardworking.
- Flexible and have the ability to adapt to different roles within the business.
Desirable
