Overview
Falcon Construction Ltd is seeking a Quality Compliance Officer to support quality assurance across our brickwork and façade projects throughout the UK.
The successful candidate will work closely with site teams, management, clients and principal contractors to ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications, company quality procedures and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Review digital quality records, inspection reports and photographic evidence submitted by site teams.
- Ensure inspections are completed at the correct stages of construction and signed off appropriately.
- Monitor quality workflows and approval processes.
- Assist in developing and maintaining quality management procedures and project-specific quality plans.
- Review contract drawings, specifications and technical documents to identify quality risks and potential construction issues.
- Carry out regular site inspections to monitor workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
- Develop and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring required inspections are completed before work progresses.
- Manage quality documentation, including material approvals, sample panels, inspection records, non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective action reports.
- Investigate quality issues, agree corrective actions and verify remedial works have been completed.
- Attend quality meetings, client inspections and joint quality walks.
- Deliver quality briefings and support site teams in promoting a "right first time" approach.
- Support snagging, defect rectification and project handovers.
- Prepare quality reports and monitor quality performance across projects.
Requirements Essential
- Experience within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of brickwork, masonry or façade construction.
- Knowledge of British Standards and construction specifications.
- Excellent communication, organisational and report-writing skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel to sites.
Desirable
- Experience with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001).
- Experience preparing or managing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Experience managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with clients, principal contractors and site teams.
Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
