Shine is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive Holiday Clubs Manager to support the planning, delivery of our successful Holiday Club programme.
This is a varied role combining operational management, coaching delivery, logistics, customer service, safeguarding and marketing. You will play a key role in ensuring our holiday clubs are safe, engaging and well-resourced while also delivering high-quality activities and coaching sessions for children.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Programme Delivery
- Coordinate the planning and operational delivery of Holiday Clubs and INSET Day programmes.
- Ensure all venues operate safely and in line with safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies.
- Maintain risk assessments, venue information, emergency procedures and operational documentation.
- Organise holiday club resources, equipment, first aid supplies and stock levels.
- Manage the distribution, collection, storage and maintenance of equipment across venues.
- Conduct venue visits during holiday periods, providing operational support and quality assurance.
- Troubleshoot issues, support coaching staff and resolve day-to-day operational challenges.
- Monitor attendance levels and work with the Head of Holiday Clubs to maximise participation.
- Manage safeguarding, behavioural and incident reporting processes appropriately.
Coaching & Children's Activities
- Deliver either quality sports, creative or enrichment sessions for children attending Holiday Clubs and Wraparound Clubs during term time.
- Lead and support a range of activities suitable for different age groups and abilities.
- Act as a positive role model, creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment for all children.
- Support children with behavioural, pastoral and wellbeing needs where required.
- Assist with planning and delivering special events, themed activities, mini mash-ups and mega mash-ups.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour management, safeguarding and child welfare at all times.
Marketing & Promotion
- Working with the Marketing team to coordinate the preparation of promotional materials, signage, certificates and awards.
- Support local marketing initiatives including poster distribution, leaflet drops and promotional events.
- Work with the Marketing Team to promote special activities and holiday programmes.
- Ensure club branding and venue signage are maintained across all sites.
Customer Relationships
- Respond professionally to parent enquiries, feedback and complaints.
- Liaise with schools and venue partners regarding operational matters and venue requirements.
- Investigate incidents and communicate outcomes to parents where appropriate.
- Support the Head of Holiday Clubs in building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children in sports coaching, education, childcare or holiday club environments.
- Holds a recognised coaching, childcare or education-related qualification (desirable).
- Has excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Is confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Has strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Is proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused.
- Understands safeguarding, health and safety and risk management responsibilities.
- Can work independently whilst contributing positively to a wider team.
- Holds, or is willing to undertake, Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) training.

Pay: £26,500.00-£28,250.00 per year
